Application Process
Find the right courses and college
Submit your application with the help of Choice Route.

Open GIC account and deposit money in your account.

Gap acceptable
After 12th maximum 2 years’ and after graduation maximum 5 years’ gap with justification, is acceptable.
Spouse eligible?
Yes. After completion of one semester of primary applicant, spouse can apply open work permit.
Tuition Fee
Fee is in the range of $15,000 CAD to $17,000 CAD per annum. It may be lower in certain provinces for some of the programs and might also be higher for certain programs of higher academic excellence.
GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate)
A student is also required to pay the GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate) amounting to $10,200 CAD at Scotia Bank or ICICI Bank Canada. The GIC covers the routine expenses (Rent, Grocery, Public Transport Card/Pass as well as other utility bills) that the student might incur during the first year of his stay in Canada. GIC is a one-time investment. As a part of his first withdrawal, the student can withdraw $2,000 from his GIC account when the student arrives in Canada and a portion of the money each month for 12 months – approximately $667 CAD each month.
Work During Study
An international student is eligible to work in Canada (both, on and off campus) along with his/her studies for 20 hours a week, and during the semester breaks, the students can work for 40 hours a week.
Post Study Work Permit
Upon the completion of the full time 1-year program, the candidate shall receive an Open Work Permit of one year. On the other hand, all the candidates with a minimum 2-year full-time program shall receive the Open Work Permit of three years. The students need to apply for the Post Graduate Work Permit within 180 days of the completion of their full-time studies.
A Co-op OR Internship Program
Many Canadian Colleges and Universities offer these work placement programs as a means of enhancing the curriculum with real-world industry experience. Typically, students spend alternative semesters learning in the classroom and then applying that knowledge through on the job work in their field of study.
